#220 Charred Tomato Soup with Pesto and Ham Stromboli




I had a really good experience making this tonight. I have never made homemade tomato soup before, it was so good. Even Juts liked it, which I was really surprised! Whoo-hoo!!!!! You roast tomatoes and a chopped red onion and puree it in a blender and that is the bulk of your soup. You do other stuff to, I didn't think it was going to turn out that good. I also made this Stromboli that was really amazingly tasty. It was straight out of a book good! And you can do so much with it, you can put whatever you want in it. We had some friends from the ward over for dinner. Thanks to Keila and her awesome family for coming! We'll do it again soon. Tonight was a huge success. but, like I always say, Rachael Ray makes the BEST SOUPS!
