This was stroganoff with chicken and the sauce was made with a classic rouge with cream and mustard. If you make this kind of dinner a lot, and put different variations in it to change it up, then you might like this twist. She had cornichons or baby gherkin pickles in the recipe. I couldn't find any but, that would have been good I think. Too bad. It was paired with pumpernickel bread! Fun, huh?
