I couldn't decide which pictures to use, so I just put them all up! We had some company over for dinner because I didn't think Justin would like it so I needed help eating it! But it turned out very fancy and very tasty. I didn't use Rachael's recipe. I just kinda made my own from her base recipe. It was totally easy but it didn't look easy AT ALL! I used a rack of lamb that was french trimmed. I seared it in a pan with fresh herbs and other stuff and roasted it in a 400 degree oven for an hour. While that was cooking I made a reduction sauce that uses a whole bunch of stuff and add plenty of stock and whatever flavors you want. And you cook it down until it because syrupy and then strain it out (like a tea bag) into this perfect pure sauce. The lamb is served over couscous. We had baby greens and some bubbly. I have never made or had lamb before and it turned out so frickin' tender, I thought I was going to die! This is a very nice romantic Valentine's Day menu that would cost you over $100 dollars at an expensive restaurant. This meal cost me a total of $15 dollars to make. I felt like a chef tonight. Thank you Ryan and Chelsea for sharing it with us, and for your sa-weet dessert!

  1. Wow I am impressed! I've never attempted something like that before. Looks delicious. I was happy to see the picture of Ryan and Chelsea. I haven't seen them in so long. Tell them hello for me.
