#13 Saucy BBQ Chicken Sammies with Scallion Potato Salad


This turned into the perfect BBQ sauce. People are very proud of their homemade BBQ sauces and that gives you bragging rights about your "secret ingredient". I don't have a special sauce that I make, I just buy it from a store. So, to make a fantastic BBQ sauce from scratch was very exciting to me! Even Justin liked it, "perfect blend of spices, and it's hot but not overbearing-well done, my love". You poach the chicken in plenty of stock, then shred it. The BBQ sauce is basically just w-sauce, hot sauce, brown sugar, onion, garlic, evoo, little tomato sauce, and your favorite steak spices. I added some provolone cheese, it wasn't in her recipe, but it definitely needed some cheese!
