#52 Chicken with Wild Mushroom and Balsamic Cream Sauce

That's 4 good ones in a row, we're on a roll! I also found the link for the recipe! I had to change one big thing. It calls for lots and lots of mushrooms, 3 different kinds. Justin likes mushrooms but that's way too much fungus for me and Jensen. So, I swapped all the mushrooms out for a bag of frozen veggie mix(broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots), it was great! And the taste was amazing, it was totally creamy. But watch out on the balsamic vinegar. A little goes a long way, it's such a tart taste. So stick to the 1 tablespoon it asks for. You cook chicken breasts then set them while you cook the veggies and the balsamic cream sauce in the same pan you cooked the chicken. While all this is going on cook up some orzo. Only 1/2 pound. It may not look like it but it makes a lot. When the sauce and veggies are done, slice up the chicken again and add to the veggies, toss and pour over the orzo! Yummmmm......

  1. can any of these meals be cooked in the slow cooker, do you think? I loooooooooooove my crockpot and making less fuss over a meal is what I'm talking about.
